CHB offices are centrally located in the 900 block of Pacific Avenue in downtown Tacoma one block from the main Pierce county Transit bus terminal and 2 blocks from the Theater District light rail (LINK) station.
From I-5 going north or south, take the I-705 off ramp to Tacoma City Central. Exit on the second left (A street) and merge onto 9th street. In two blocks turn right onto Pacific Avenue. There is often on-street parking, but the limit is 1 hour and the parking police are very diligent. For a delightful change, try parking at the Tacoma Dome and ride the LINK to its terminus just 2 blocks from the CHB office.
